Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt and Dave to talk about his test drive of the week, car parts made in America, disabling safety features in cars, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds was test driving the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave pickup, which is a Jeep Wrangler with a pickup bed on the back. Jerry started by saying that this car has been quite polarizing when he asks for opinions on it, but that it's a very capable vehicle. The car has been out for about a year, and has been selling very well. The Mojave model is geared more towards high speed adventures and desert running. Jerry said that since he's driving it in Dallas, that it's more enjoyable on the highway. The car is a 4 wheel drive with lots of configurable options, is large and heavy, and is roomy inside with a large backseat. The car also has a V6 engine under the hood, and gets about 25 miles to the gallon on the highway, which Jerry wasn't too impressed with. Overall, Jerry said the car is quite enjoyable, but pricey, with a window sticker price of $58,000.

Jerry also talked about some stories on his website carprousa.com, including one about car parts manufactured in America, as well as one about the safety features that people tend to disable in cars.
