Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, the Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, car sales and incentives in December, cars that people keep for more than 15 years, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Infiniti Q50 Sedan, a car that Jerry had a few problems with in the current market. Reynolds started the discussion by saying that they have updated some of their stylings for the 2020 model. He then explained that the Infiniti sales have not been great for the last 4 or 5 years now, and Jerry thinks that this is due to the fact that they are trying to be a luxury car, but have never quite gotten there. He compares it to the 2020 Jaguar XE that he drove last week. Jerry had this to say about the comparison,

Ironically those two cars are within a thousand dollars of MSRP stickers. And I look at everything that Jag had, and how exciting it was, and the performance of it, and how it drove, and felt, and handled, and man it's just hard to make a case for this Infiniti, unfortunately, because it just doesn't stack up with what's out there.

Despite this, Jerry said that it has a very comfortable interior, and isn't a bad car, but he just wasn't thrilled with it at $47,000.
