Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt and Dave to talk about his test drive of the week, other SUVs, the best cars for college graduates, the dangers of keeping hand sanitizer in hot cars, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. Jerry started the discussion by saying that he does not typically review minivans, but that he has wanted to try this one for a while due to it being a plug-in-hybrid. The car has good fuel economy with 30 miles of range on battery alone before converting to gas. Jerry said,

If you have a short commute, and you're ten, twelve, maybe even fifteen miles away one way from work, when everyone gets back to work, you would never visit a gas station again. Yet, if you wanted to take this thing across the country on vacation, you could do that.

The car drives well, is quiet inside, has a panoramic moonroof, 4 captains chairs, a dvd player with dual screens, has a roomy 3rd row seat, and all seats fold into the floor. Jerry said that this has never been a huge seller, but that it's is great for budget and fuel economy conscious people, and that with the incentives that Chrysler has put on the Pacifica, it has made it the lowest priced SUV at $50,000.
