Thursday on KFYO Mornings, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt Martin and Paul R. Beane to talk about his test drive of the week, the General Motors strike that is predicted to end today, National Teen Driver Safety Week, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Cadillac XT6 SUV with third row seating. Jerry started by saying, "I'll tell you, Cadillac figured out that they had a real hole in their lineup." He explained that the XT4 model is a small luxury SUV, and the XT5 is a midsize SUV, but the XT6 fills the hole of what they were missing with a stretched frame, longer wheelbase, and a third row seat, which Jerry says is surprisingly roomy.

The car has a beautiful interior, nice safety features, is quiet inside, has an upgraded transmission, and very responsive shift paddles. They even added several things that Jerry felt like were missing in previous models such as a lack of a volume knob on the radio, and a lack of switch for the start/stop system. The only complaint that Jerry had with the SUV was that he thought it was a little underpowered.

Overall I like it. I wish it had a little more power.

The car does not have a window sticker price, but Jerry recreated this model on the website and came up with an MSRP of $59,500.
