The Car Pro Test Drives The 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR

Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, a General Motors recall, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR, Jaguar's fastest SUV. The car has a supercharged 5-liter V8 engine, has 550 horses under the hood, can go from 0 to 60 mph in exactly 4 seconds which Jerry said was amazing for an SUV, and has a top speed of 176 mph. Jerry explained that the car also has big wheels, a fantastic interior, a panoramic moonroof, a good sized back seat, and decent cargo room. The car also has three different driving modes: Eco, which Jerry was not impressed with, Dynamic, and Comfort. Jerry said that comfort mode is not bad, and that it really does ride pretty well, and that dynamic mode is great for everyday driving and comfort. The car has a price of $90,000.

The Car Pro also talked about some stories on his website carprousa.com. One story on the sales reports coming in for August, another story on the top 25 selling models, and a big story on a recall from General Motors in which 3.46 million of their most popular vehicles were recalled due to a break issue. The cars affected were the 2014-2018 models.
