Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his high value test drive of the week, what to do if mice are living in your car, as well as other auto industry news.

This week, The Car Pro was riding in style in the new 2021 BMW Apina XB7. Jerry started by explaining that Alpina is a separate company from BMW, and have been taking regular vehicles and turning them into hotrods, such as they have with the BMW X7. The Apina XB7 has a handmade V8 twin turbo engine that has 612 horses and can output 590 lbs. of torque and reach a top speed of 180 mph, leading Jerry to say, "when you think about that in this 6,000 lb. SUV, man that is getting after it." When asked if that is enough power to get this thing really going, Jerry said that it really is, and that when the twin turbo engines kick in, it will pin you to the seat. The car also has 23 inch wheels, a stunning interior and exterior, and a panoramic moonroof for both the front seats and the 3rd row seats that have LED lights that make it look like you are looking at the stars. Jerry said that it really is a nice SUV, but probably not something he would get personally, especially since they are only making 700 of them. The Apina XB7 has a price of $156,000, which Jerry says might be a bit much, but it would be fun for a while.

The Car Pro also talked about some stories on his website carprousa.com, including one on what to do if you get mice making nests in your car, where Jerry talks about how mice can make nests, even in active cars, and then chew up the wiring. Another story is about how you can now order the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer, and yet another on the 2022 F250 and F350.
