The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds Test Drives the 2020 Range Rover Sport

Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, the top selling SUVs, when Jerry trades out his cars, various other cars, Black Friday car sales and incentives, as well as other auto industry news.

This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2020 Range Rover Sport complete with the snowboarding package. Jerry explained that the Range Rovers usually come with a big v8 engine, and he actually has one of that kind, but that this version has a 6 cylinder, turbocharged engine. Despite that, Jerry said that the car still has plenty of power, and a good drive. The car shined in two areas, which Jerry explained, saying,

They're really known for two different things. One is fantastic interiors, and the second is their all wheel drive.

The car also has a snowboard rack on top, which Jerry found amusing due to the small amount of snow that Texas typically gets. Additionally, Jerry said that the fuel economy for the car isn't too bad, but some of the electronics are a little behind, such as the touchscreen infotainment screen being a little slow. The car has a windows sticker price of $75,000, which Jerry thought was inexpensive compared to other sport model cars.
