The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds Test Drives the 2019 McLaren 720S

Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, the Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week as well as other auto industry news.

This week Jerry was driving in the new 2019 McLaren 720S, a car that Jerry has had before but has never had the performance it does now. Jerry heavily praised the feel of this car, saying, "You get a car like this and, man, it just changes everything. The way you drive, the way you sit in it." The car has 711 horses, good stability, a sport, comfort, and track mode, and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds.

"That's where you really feel this car, is just from a dead stop and just full out acceleration."

The car has a beautiful exterior, with a smaller inside cabin, and a window sticker price of $351,000. "I wouldn't want this car as a daily driver, but boy it would be a fun weekend. It's just a little nerve wracking to drive this car, I don't mind telling you."
