Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week as well as other auto industry news and events.

This week Jerry Reynolds was driving the new 2019 Acura RDX, Acura's smallest SUV. Jerry said that this model has grown quite a bit from its previous versions, being taller, wider, and having a bigger wheel base. Jerry went on to explain that the vehicle has a lot of tech, and that he was almost intimidated when he saw all the switches and buttons on the interior of the car, but that he got used to what they all did in a matter of minutes. The car has plenty of head and leg room, 272 horses, and 280 lb ft of torque. Overall, Jerry was impressed with this vehicle.

"This is what I love about the auto industry. When a car company goes out there...and takes an already good SUV, but something that I didn't consider to be really special, and they turn it into something special."

Jerry also talked about other auto industry news, such as car shows going on right now, the auto industry sales numbers for July coming out yesterday, and Reagor Dykes Companies filing for bankruptcy.
