The vehicle that Jerry Reynolds test drove this week was in fact the new 2019 BMW X4. It was misidentified in previous versions of this article.

Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin the Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week in the 2019 BMW X4 as well as other auto industry news.

The Car Pro started by explaining that the BMW X4 is BMW's mid-sized SUV, but for the 2019 model, they've made it longer and wider. Jerry seemed to be very pleased with this vehicle, saying,

"I haven't always been the biggest BMW fan. There were just quirky things about them that I didn't like, but I gotta say, this one I have thoroughly enjoyed."

The X4 gets good gas mileage and has lots of room inside with a red interior, a moon roof, and lots of safety features. The car also comes with a sports mode that many cars seem to be equipped with recently. Reynolds explained that the sports mode changes everything about the feel including the steering, handling, transmission, and the general ride of the car. Jerry said that he drove with this mode all week because, "it's so dog gone fun. I mean this thing is like a sports car!" The sticker price is set at $61,000.

Jerry also talked about how it has been one year since Hurricane Harvey, and used and previously flooded cars are still being sold all over the country, not just in Houston. When buying a used car, be sure to look at all of the info provided and be aware of what condition the vehicle has been in in the past.
