A Texas Tech student claimed she was sexually assaulted on campus, according a crime alert released by the university.

The student reportedly met with a professor on Thursday, March 26th in the Kinesiology Building for academic purposes. She told Texas Tech police that the professor touched her inappropriately while they were alone together.

The identity of the professor has not been released to the public, but Texas Tech police say the professor will be denied access to campus facilities while an investigation is conducted.
