2025 Red Raider Football Spring Game
This annual game in Lubbock, Texas, is the perfect opportunity to see what's in store for the regular season and what to expect from Head Coach Joey McGuire.
This game will not be televised, so your only chance to watch is to be there yourself.
For those curious how this Spring Game works, it's a 90-minute scrimmage that includes several competitive situations meant to test the mettle of each player before the regular season.
Fans will also have a chance to watch one-on-one drills on one side of the field while the wide receivers go head-to-head on the other side.
Red Raider Team Awards
Joey McGuire and the Texas Tech staff will also present awards from the 2024 season as part of a 54-year-old tradition. Some awards that will be given out include the following:
- Pete Cawthon Memorial Team MVP
- Dell Morgan Memorial Courage Award
- E.J. Holub Double Tough Award
All attendees are asked to park in the Commuter North C-1 lot for Saturday's game, and they are invited to enter through Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the Jones Stadium. Seating will be open on the west side.
Concessions Galore!
Good news! Concessions will be open along the west side of the Jones AT&T Stadium on Saturday during the game. There will also be stands from Whataburger and Two Docs Brewery for any thirsty patrons.
Texas Tech reminds all visitors that concessions stands are fully cashless and that a clear bag policy is in effect for Saturday's game as well.
