Texas Tech Football Continues to Jump In The Rankings

Texas Tech Football is riding high after starting the season on fire. The Red Raiders are 3-0 after Saturday's win over Oregon State. And while the offense and defensive have looked great in their first three games of the season, the Red Raiders are only looking forward as the schedule and opponents get tougher.

And it starts on Saturday.

Texas Tech Ranked #17 in the AP Poll

Texas Tech Football jumped up in the AP College Football Rankings to #17 in the nation. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, Texas Tech is ranked #16. The last time Texas was ranked this high was in 2017 when they ranked #15 in the Coaches Poll.

And this weekend Texas Tech finds itself in a top 20 matchup for the first time in a long time.

Texas Tech Takes On Utah Saturday

#17 Texas Tech will take on #16 Utah in Salt Lake City on Saturday at 11:00am on FOX. This will be Texas Tech's toughest challenge yet in its goal to win the Big 12. In three games this season, Utah has only allowed 2 touchdowns. They have defeated UCLA, Cal-Poly, and Wyoming.

Both Texas Tech and Utah have seen their rankings jump since the start of the season and it should be a great game on Saturday.
