You may have noticed construction going on at Jones AT&T Stadium as the south end zone project is underway. One of the pieces you have probably seen if you've been near the Texas Tech campus is massive crane next to the football stadium.

Looking at the crane, you wouldn't think anyone would really want to climb the crane, especially on a day when the West Texas winds are kicking up dirt, but then again, Texas Tech's Football Coach isn't like many other people. And he is ready to climb the crane, if social media delivers.

On Twitter, the Texas Tech Football account posted a screen shot of a text message asking Coach McGuire how many retweets would it take for him to climb the crane. His number? 3000. Even Coach McGuire retweeted it with his trade mark "Let's Gooo". He sure does know how to fire up Tech fans. Even with something that not completely safe in Lubbock, like climbing high structures. Did I mention it gets windy here?

I've done my part in retweeting the Texas Tech Football tweet. Will it hit 3,000 retweets? We'll see.
