Back in August, news broke that Bryce Bonnin would be transferring from Arkansas to Texas Tech, but would need to sit out a year due to NCAA transfer rules. There's been a major update to that, per Kendall Rogers from d1baseball.com:

Great news for Texas Tech baseball, which is going to be freshman-heavy on the mound in 2019 after sending six Red Raider pitchers to the MLB draft this offseason.

Whatever the reason for the immediate eligibility, Texas Tech and Head Coach Tim Tadlock will enjoy Bonnin on the mound, who can pump 95 to the plate.

Time will tell how Bonnin is used on the Red Raider staff, but there are a lot of open slots to fight for this fall and next spring.
