
Texas Man Pleads Guilty To Stalking WNBA Star Caitlin Clark
A Texas man will be spending the next couple of years behind bars after pleading guilty to stalking and harassing WNBA star Caitlin Clark. According to a report from CBS News, the man told police he was in "an imaginary relationship" with Caitlin Clark.
Texas Man Sent Hundreds of Messages to Clark
Michael Lewis of Denton, Texas was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison on Monday for his actions. Lewis reached a plea deal with prosecutors according to CBS News. In addition to prison time, Lewis was ordered to stay away from Indiana Fever and Pacer events plus a ban on contacting Caitlin Clark.

CBS reports that Lewis was arrested back in January after he sent "hundreds of threats and sexually explicit messages".
The FBI tracked the IP addresses of Lewis' messages to a hotel in Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Public Library. That's when he reportedly told police offers that he was in an imaginary relationship with Clark. After police visited Lewis, the messages continued.
Lewis Recommended to Get Mental Health Treatment
The judge in the case also recommended that Lewis get mental health treatment after he warned that the end of the world was coming.
Lewis did get credit for time served already.
