LPD Offering $5,000 for Arrest of Unidentified House Party Murderer

The Lubbock Police Department is asking the public once again for any information leading to the arrest of a mysterious gunman who shot and killed a 20-year-old last year. A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can come forward and provide details.

The announcement comes after last year's incident on 76th Street. According to the LPD news release, officers were first called to a residence at midnight on September 28 after receiving neighbor complaints about a loud party taking place.

Another call was made about 45 minutes later at the same location reporting shots fired. When officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Deon Lilly suffering from a gunshot wound. Lilly was rushed to University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Another victim, 18-year-old Adysen Gardner, was sent to UMC with a gunshot wound on her buttock. A 16-year-old was also rushed to the hospital, not for gunshot wounds but for several lacerations on their arm.

LPD Seeking Public Help

No arrest was made at the time, and the investigation has since remained open with the murder suspect still at large.

LPD has taken to social media to spread the word of the cash reward offered to anyone with information leading to the killer's arrest.
