Texas Gas Prices April 16-23

Texas gas prices have dropped down 3 cents from last week throughout the state.

The statewide gas price average in Texas is $2.24 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch.  Drivers in Galveston are paying the most on average at $2.30 per gallon while drivers in Texarkana are paying the least at $2.14 per gallon.

The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.40 which is three cents less than last week and 23 cents more per gallon than last year.
