Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton joined the show to talk about his appearance this this Friday (November 06, 2016) in Lubbock at the Texas Federation of Republican Women Convention.

Paxton and Hasty also discussed other subjects, including lawsuits that the Attorney General's office has filed against the Obama Administration.

Hasty asked Attorney General Paxton if he agrees with Governor Greg Abbott's recent order to Sheriffs statewide to abide by federal immigration laws, or have state grant money revoked.

I am in agreement with Governor Abbott. I was in the Legislature for twelve years, both in the House and Senate, and numerous times we tried to pass a 'sanctuary city' bill that would have stopped these cities from going forward with this ['sanctuary' policies for illegal immigrants]. We were never successful, but I agree with Governor Abbott, I think it's outside of the law, what they're doing, and I think it should be stopped.

Paxton also talked about the lawsuit that has been filed against the Childress, Texas Police Department for having, "In God We Trust", on their vehicles.
