Test Drive of the 2021 Buick Encore GX and Newly Designed Website
Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, an update on the car market, his newly redesigned website, as well as other auto industry news.
This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2021 Buick Encore GX, Buick's Korean imported SUV. Reynolds started the discussion by saying that this has been an enjoyable test drive week for him, and that this SUV has been a joy to drive, which he was surprised by after his expectations had been lowered. The 2021 Buick Encore GX is not their smallest SUV, but is still very compact, and comes loaded with many features such as a heads up display, navigation, and wifi, despite only being $34,000. "Its got all the right buttons, and the one standout that I noticed is it is super quiet inside, and that's something that Buick really does a good job with," Jerry said.
Reynolds was also asked if he has any idea when the car market might return to normal once the chip shortage is over. Jerry said that there is nothing solid yet, and so no one really knows, but that there have been many predictions. He is hoping that things will return to the way they were by the end of the year, and that car dealers will be able to survive everything that comes at them.
Finally, The Car Pro talked about his website carprousa.com, which saw a newly designed version go live on Tuesday. Jerry said that they really wanted to make the website more user friendly. Previously, you would have to go several pages deep before you found what you were really looking for, and so they have made their most frequently visited pages, such as his car reviews and frequently asked questions easier to find. Reynolds said that everything should be quick and easy to use.
