KFYO News & Operations Director, Rob Snyder, has been named an award recipient of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals of Lubbock 2018 Twenty Under Forty list.

"It's our ability to put on an event that celebrates three of the things that I like most, and that's a little bit of libation, very good BBQ and music," Eddie explained.
"It's a program for kids eleven to eighteen years of age. It's a thirty week program where we turn students into CEOs of their very own company," Marquez explained.
"It's going to be able to just expand beyond what we currently have and be able to be offered to folks that is going to save them money. It's going to be able to provide them some coverages that they might not have had under the ACA, but it is something we feel is very important to our members."
"Since 2006 we've had an affordable and discounted health care plan that's been directed to small businesses to put them in a pool that gives them large pool benefits," McBride explained, going on to say, "it's been a very successful plan."
"Our effort is in safety. Trying to make folks feel more confident at the workplace. If anything that you hope never happens, you pray to God it never happens, but if something happens, at least they'd have the confidence to know how to react," said Eddie.
