House District 84

Glasheen finished with 41 percent and Tepper with 40 percent in Tuesday's Primary Election. The Runoff will be held in late May, over two months away.

The Republican Primary for HD 84 will advance to a run-off. Meanwhile, in HD 83, State Rep. Dustin Burrows fended off a challenger.

Frullo has represented House District 84 in Lubbock since November 2010. He is currently the longest serving elected official from Lubbock.

Fields announced her run against Republican incumbent John Frullo back in July, but now says she’s dropping out due to family reasons.

State Rep. John Frullo was first elected to House District 84 in 2010. Recently, in the legislature, he worked to pass bills fighting human trafficking, lower property taxes and create the Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine

Samantha Fields will make her official campaign announcement July 23rd at 4 p.m. outside the gymnasium of Dunbar College Preparatory Academy in East Lubbock.
