Susan Rowley Estimates Large Amount Of Revenue Will Be Lost In Case Dismissals [INTERVIEW]
On Thursday's Chad Hasty Show Judge Susan Rowley, Lubbock County Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about the backlog of cases in her office.
Rowley and Hasty discussed how the backlog came about, what can and is being done, and what it all means for the county.
Answering Hasty's question about the fiscal ramifications of having to dismiss so many case that are still open, Rowley said of her estimation,
We're looking at three or four million dollars that could have been brought in revenue, but now we're not going to be able to get.
