It's officially Fall and while people are decorating with pumpkins and beginning to put up Halloween decorations, it's not going to feel very seasonal around Lubbock the next few days.

Summer temperatures will return to Lubbock beginning Thursday when highs are supposed to reach the low 90's and by Saturday we could be looking at mid to upper 90's around the area.

So those of you who enjoy Summer-like weather rejoice because the next few days and even into next week will be unseasonably warm. It's not just Lubbock of course that will be seeing warmer temperatures. All across the state into next week we will be seeing temperatures that look more like Spring or Summer than Fall and Halloween.

But don't get too worried pumpkin spice fans, it does appear that Lubbock will see highs in the 70's in the middle part of next week with lows reaching into the 50's and 40's. A chill in the air is a great way to start a morning on the South Plains.

The good thing about the warmer temperatures during the day? During the evening and at night, it feels great outside. So take advantage of the nice weather and visit some of the events going on around Lubbock including the corn maze. The At'l Do Farms corn maze is open through November 6th and is a great time for the entire family. The maze is open Tuesday-Friday from 6-9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays 2-9 p.m. The corn maze at At'l Do Farms is located at 6323 FM 1294 in Lubbock, Texas. At'l Do Farms suggest putting in the 79415 ZIP code into Google or Apple Maps for the best directions.
