Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Steve Munisteri, former chairman of the Republican Party of Texas and Deputy Assistant to the President, joined the broadcast to talk current events and politics in the state of Texas and on the national level.

Munisteri detailed some of the difficulties facing President Trump in the upcoming general election, including creating excitement without his numerous raucous rallies, being forced to move instead to online campaigning and fundraising, and whether or not Joe Biden can win the state of Texas against President Trump .

Also in the discussion was Texas Governor Greg Abbott's declining approval ratings, as well as possible GOP running for the White House in 2024, including Greg Abbott, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, Marco Rubio. "My guess is it's going to be like last time, where we're going to have seventeen, eighteen candidates running," Munisteri said.
