On Thursday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Steve Evans, Lubbock County Republican Party chairman, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about current political topics in the local area, the state, and on the national level.

In the discussion was the fiasco of the Texas GOP convention, the election of Allen West as the new state Republican Party chairman, and the difficulties facing candidates in November's general election.

Also in the discussed was an introduction to the new KFYO Sunday show, "Reason, Religion, and Reality" presented by The Constitutionalist Society, LLC, of which Evans has helped develop. While describing the show Evans said, "It's a good discussion. We love feedback and recommendations, so if you've got time after you get out of church, 12:00 to 1:00 right here on KFYO."
