Single Vehicle Accident Near Buffalo Springs Lake Leaves One Dead

On Sunday, August 2nd, one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident near Buffalo Springs Lake.

52-year-old Gar Bolander of Denver, Colorado was driving his motorcycle on FM 835, just a bit south of the entrance to Buffalo Springs Lake, when he travelled around a curve at an unsafe speed.

He went off the left side of the roadway and into a narrow ditch.

Bolander was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
