Last week the Lubbock Police Department launched a new fight against prostitution in Lubbock. LPD will now publish the names and pictures of men that have been arrested for soliciting a prostitute. In addition to LPD posting the images and names on Facebook, other media organizations will post the names and pictures as well. The plan has people applauding and criticizing LPD. Supporters say this could help deter people from engaging in prostitution, while those against the measure say the men haven't been convicted and shouldn't be publicly humiliated.
