The Lubbock City Council will meet again today and according to multiple reports, City Manager James Loomis will present a new preliminary version of the budget. In this new version of the budget, raises for Lubbock Power and Light employees are gone. Electric Utility Board finance subcommittee chairwoman Suzanne Blake has blasted the idea that the City Council would cut out the raise. Studies have shown that LP&L employees are fairly paid.
