Should Texas Lawmakers Pass A Ban on Texting While Driving During the Legislative Session? [POLL]
On Thursday the House Transportation Committee heard testimony from those who favor a ban on texting while driving in Texas. The committee did not take a vote on the bill that was filed by Rep. Tom Craddick of Midland. Craddick's legislation would make texting while driving a misdemeanor punishable with a fine up to $99 on the first offense. Breaking the law again would move the fine up to $200.
Do you think lawmakers should pass a statewide ban? Let us know in today's KFYO Poll of the Day.
