Should Pastors Be Able to Endorse Candidates Without Losing Their Tax Status?

Preachers, politics and the I-R-S.  Controversial topics when you put them together.    For instance, should churches get special treatment from the I-R-S.   That controversial topic was discussed with Rep. Randy Neugebauer on KFYO.

Question: What about political endorsements?

" I think that’s up to an individual pastor, whether he wants to endorse a candidate or not, but I don’t think you should lose your I-R-S status over that," Neugebauer said.
