A verbal altercation led to a shooting over the weekend at Buffalo Springs Lake.
EverythingLubbock reports Buffalo Springs Lake Police responded to the incident at 2:50 p.m. on Saturday, October 30th, in the 500 block of Comanche Trail.
Authorities say a verbal altercation between two men had occurred, which escalated to a gun being fired, striking one of the men in the foot.
The victim was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center.
The unidentified suspect was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center.
