Ted Cruz On O'Rourke - Hard Left And Against Gun Rights

Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) joined the program to talk about the official kickoff of his campaign for reelection to the U.S. Senate.

Cruz and Hasty talked about what he's hearing from voters on his current "barnstorming" tour across the state of Texas, the importance of Texans continuing to vote conservative, and legislative accomplishments in the past year.

While describing the positions of Democrat opponent Robert "Beto" O'Rourke, Cruz said,

Congressman Beto O'Rourke is running hard left. He is running the same sort of campaign you'd see a Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren run. He's for higher taxes...he supports sanctuary cities, and he's campaigning aggressively in support of gun control and against the Second Amendment.
