Senator Charles Perry Confident Of Meaningful Property Tax Reform

Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, broadcast live from the state capitol building in Austin, District 28 Senator Charles Perry joined the program to discuss the priorities in the 86th session of the Texas legislature, which include budgets, property tax reform (SB-2), and much more.

While answering Hasty's questions about the prospects of actual property tax reform being passed in the current session, Perry said,

There's no doubt in my mind we don't leave here [without] property tax reform in a way that it would limit growth, or at least give the voters a voice back in the growth of government. That's the heart of that, is to take the barriers away from having those discussions.
