On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show this week, Scott Braddock, editor of Quorum Report joined the show to catch us up on the latest from the 86th Texas Legislature.

Braddock and Hasty talked about several items, including the short time left in the session, and the status of property tax reform.

While speaking about some of the bills that didn't make it through the processes to become law, Braddock said,

As fast as they kill people on 'Game of Thrones', some of these bills get killed at the legislature...Some of the other bills that went in the trash were the bill about protecting confederate monuments...the banning the government mandated paid sick leave, those bills also went in the trash on Sunday night.
