Scott Braddock - Will More Shutdowns Take Place In Texas?

Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Scott Braddock, editor of QuorumReport.com, joined the broadcast to talk about the latest news in Texas.

Braddock and Hasty talked about the time-sensitive nature of the Texas GOP convention, and what needs to happen in a short amount of time to meet time requirements. Also in the discussion was the continuing coronavirus crisis, and the very real possibility of more shut-downs of Texas commerce being ordered by Governor Greg Abbott.

Braddock, while talking about speculation of possible new shutdowns being ordered by Governor Greg Abbott in the near future, said,

He's not going to make everybody happy. But we do know that he has, again, demonstrated the ability and the willingness to buck the base of his own party, and it certainly hasn't gained him any fans in the Democratic Party, so he's kind of in a no-win situation politically.
