On Monday's Chad Hasty Show the editor of Quorum Report Scott Braddock joined the show to talk about the latest news around the state of Texas.

Braddock and Hasty discussed the recent multiple murders in El Paso and Dayton, domestic terrorism, radicalism, violence, and possible actions to alleviate the problems.

Also in the discussion were the announced retirements of congressional republicans and other hazards awaiting the GOP in upcoming elections.

While speaking on the challenges facing Republicans, and the many reasons conservatives may have a tough time in the near future, Braddock said,

It's that these are going to be tough races and expensive races, and then the other thing, it's that Republicans are now in the minority.

Braddock also addressed the continuing controversy over the meeting between Texas Speaker of the House Dennis Bonnen and Michael Quinn Sullivan from Empower Texans, and the status of alleged audio recordings from that meeting.
