On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show Scott Braddock, editor of Quorum Report, joined the broadcast to review the 86th Texas Legislature and preview the 87th session.

Braddock and Hasty talked about accomplishments and losses in this session, and discussed what may take place in the future, including the large role that redistricting will play in the 87th Legislature.

About voting blocs, the expectations of voters, and what politicians need to keep in mind going forward, Braddock said,

Across the country, people who are pivotal are the ones who would vote for President Obama, and then later vote for President Trump. People who can be convinced that the Democrat or the Republican in that moment is the right candidate for them.
