Scott Braddock On Property Tax Reform, Red Light Camera Ban Legislation [INTERVIEW]
On Monday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show this week, Quorum Report editor Scott Braddock joined the show to talk about the big news from the state legislature.
Braddock and Hasty discussed the latest on the property tax reform front and proposals for the reforms which include a possible sales tax increase, as well as legislation on tap to outlaw red light cameras in the state.
About the red light camera legislation, Braddock said,
I expect it to pass if it is on the floor...The big question is, whether the bill will end up honoring current contracts that cities have with the red light camera companies, or whether it will just be a ban that says those cameras have to come down as soon as the law goes into effect.
