A school district employee has been arrested in Texas along with another man after law enforcement conducted a sting operation targeting adults who were targeting children. The goal was to crack down on online solicitation of minors online.

Gainesville ISD Employee Arrested

According to the Dallas Morning News, an employee of the Gainesville Independent School District was arrested recently for trying to meet up with a minor. The employee was arrested along with another man.

The suspects apparently believed they were talking with underage minors online but instead they were talking to fully grown adult police officers. According to the Dallas Morning News, Hunter Clayton Jordan arrived at the location driving a Gainesville ISD vehicle.

Felony Charges

Jordan faces a felony charge of solicitation of a minor. His bond was set at $150,000. According to the report, multiple agencies including the Texas Department of Public Safety, Collin County Sheriff’s Department and the Colony Police Department assisted with the sting targeting those attempting to meet up with minors.
