Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Dr. Ronny Jackson appeared on the program to discuss issues in the Republican Party District 13 primary runoff election taking place July 14, 2020, in which Jackson faces Josh Winegarner for the congressional seat being vacated by Representative Mac Thornberry.

Jackson and Hasty talked about Jackson's recent debate with his opponent Winegarner, as well as the coronavirus crisis being used to make the case for mail-in balloting, and much more.

While answering Hasty's question about his thoughts about the trend of historical statues being torn down under the guise of protesting racial injustices, Jackson said,

This is the far left, the socialist, communist, radical left, the liberal press in this country trying to rewrite history, and we just can't allow that. This is not about protests anymore, this is about anarchy, and an uprising of folks that truly are communists and socialists...We're going to lose our country if we don't step up to the plate and say no.
