Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show Republican National Committee national spokesperson Elizabeth Harrington joined the show to talk about this week's Democratic Party debates for the next presidential election.

While generalizing the debates, which spanned through two evenings with numerous candidates, Harrington said,

Just when you thought it couldn't get more crazy than Wednesday night [in the first debate panel] with people talking about taxpayer funded abortions for trans-women, and getting rid of our border laws...Then you got Thursday night, which was a crazy lurch to the left, I mean, absolutely insane. Openly advocating for everyone's taxes to go up, the Green New Deal, ten out of ten candidates on stage raised their hands to give taxpayer funded health care...to illegal immigrants...I mean the party has really gone so far left, and I think it's a sad thing to see.

During her reply to Hasty's questioning about former Vice President Joe Biden, Harrington said,

He is the definition of a finger-in-the-wind politician. No conviction. He is seeing where the wind's blowing, the Democratic Party is blowing far left, so he's trying to keep up, and he's lost a few steps in the years. He's been in 'The Swamp' for forty four years, almost a half century, and I just don't think he's going to be able to keep up.
