Ridiculously High Winds Topple Billboard in Central Lubbock

Sunday night (March 18), Lubbock was relentlessly blown around by wind gusts, some up to 60 miles per hour. The constant howling and random pops of debris hitting my walls kept me up all night. I'm sure many of us are rather cranky today.

My friend got this picture of a local billboard topped by last night's strong winds. You could say they're in a sticky situation (cue: funky bass riff).

I love all my friends at Tejas Motors. Here's hoping they get their sign fixed soon.
