Rick Perry Could Be Trump’s Pick For Energy Secretary

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry might be Donald Trump's pick for energy secretary. According to the Texas Tribune, Perry will meet again with Donald Trump Monday afternoon. The two first spoke in November when transition team aides said Perry was being considered for energy secretary and Secretary of Defense.

Bloomberg over the weekend reported that Perry was Trump's top pick to lead the  Department of Energy.

During Rick Perry's infamous 2011 Presidential Debate, the Department of Energy was the third and forgotten department that Perry said he would eliminate.
