On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the program to talk about current issues in the region as well as the nation.

Arrington and Hasty discussed the continuing economic rebound with good reports coming in, unemployment, the national debt, the violence and looting occurring across the nation in the wake of the death of George Floyd, and much more.

While speaking about the death of George Floyd in Minneaplois, and the demonstrations and violence occurring in many cities throughout the U.S., Arrington said, "Justice, I think is being quickly being pursued, as it should be, and I think everybody grieves with their family, and grieves for our country when anything like that happens...But with the riots and the looting, all of this violent mob activity has got to stop, and we need law and order...It's about the safety of our citizens...I'll defend everybody's right to go speak their truth to power, their views, that's as American as apple pie. But when it turns violent...," and explained President Trump's intent and efforts as quelling the violence when local law enforcement fails to protect American citizens.
