Rep. Randy Neugebauer Says Social Security Is A Ponzi Scheme

In a recent  debate involving Republican presidential candidates, Governor Rick Perry said that Social Security is a Ponzi scheme.   It's become a controversial issue in the election.

On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Rep. Randy Neugebauer was asked if believes Social Security is a Ponzi scheme.

“It is in the sense that we’re making promises, we’re collecting money from people that – if we don’t change the direction – they’re not going to get those benefits,” Neugebauer said.

Neugebauer is supporting Perry in the presidential race.
