Rep. Jodey Arrington: Economic Recovery Will Be Slow In Coming [INTERVIEW]
On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the program to talk about all the latest news in the nation.
Arrington and Hasty talked about the coronavirus crisis and resulting economic disaster that is coming about as a result of various "shutdown" actions taken throughout the country, as well as the news that the Department of Justice is dropping the prosecution of former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
When asked by Hasty for his opinion as to how long it will be before the nation returns with it's economy back on track, Arrington replied,
I think it's going to take several months to get back, if not an entire year, because you just can't shut an economy this complex and diverse and robust, you can't just shut it down and turn it on, and expect it to be back to the way it was.
