It's a winter variety of squash that's cream-colored with green stripes. According to Garcia, the Delicata Squash is tender to cut and has a sweeter taste. In fact, the squash has been called the Sweet Potato Squash. Garcia said squash is a great source of fiber and Vitamin A and it also pairs well with just about all types of foods, including beef and chicken.
