Wednesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin Lubbock City Councilman Randy Christian joined Dave and Matt to talk about the previous night's city council meeting and other West Texas news.

Randy discussed several topics including the council approving work for the police substations, the Sheriff's anti-gang task force, the Iron Orchard, billboard ordinances, Lubbock Day in Austin, the Texas Tech Vet School, speed bumps, and more.

Lubbock Day is coming up in Austin on February 26th and 27th. Randy was asked if they had a legislation agenda ready, to which he said that they do have one and that they will review it on Friday. He went on to say that he is excited to see some of this through, especially the Texas Tech vet school, which he supported by saying,

"I think it's great that two West Texas cities are coming together to make that happen, because it's such a positive for all of West Texas, and I'm an Amarillo guy. I grew up in Amarillo, so I'm proud of the big A for making that happen."
