Budget season is going on and the battles have begun. Tonight, the Lubbock City Council will hold a public hearing on next year's budget. Citizens are encouraged to attend, but will they?

Two of the biggest issues lately have been with Citibus and the city Health Department. Both of those issues have brought on a lot of passion in some circles. We've had many calls and emails on the morning show on both of those issues, but calling and sending an email is easy.

Councilman Paul Beane told a local news station that he wants to see people at the public hearing. The question is, will people show? If you want input on the budget, you should. Tonight's meeting starts at 6pm inside city council chambers.
